Editing stays in your browser. Generating a PDF sends your document to the conversion server.
While you write
Pasted text, opened Markdown files, settings and attached images stay in this browser tab. The live HTML preview is generated here. Your appearance and converter-mode choices are saved in browser storage. Light is the default appearance. Document content is never saved there. The app has no account system or document history. Closing or refreshing the tab loses your current work; download the Markdown source if you want to keep it.
When you download a PDF
The app sends the current Markdown, layout settings and attached image bytes to its server. A separate Chromium browser context renders the document and returns PDF bytes. The app does not intentionally write your document or PDF to disk, create a saved download URL, or log the document body. Generated PDF responses use Cache-Control: no-store. The current PDF remains in tab memory for repeat downloads.
PDF generation requires a network connection to the server. This is server-side processing, so this tool does not claim that documents never leave your device. Do not submit information whose handling requirements you have not verified.
Images
The server does not fetch arbitrary image URLs in your document. When you explicitly choose Load from URL, your browser contacts that image host without credentials or a referrer. That host receives a network request. You can instead attach a PNG, JPEG or WebP from your device. Attached bytes are sent with the document when you generate a PDF.
Fonts, analytics and error logs
Fonts and rendering libraries are served by this app. No analytics, advertising, tracking pixels, third-party font services or session replay are included. The conversion endpoint temporarily counts requests by network address in memory to apply rate limits. It logs only a generic error class when conversion fails, not document contents or filenames.
Hosting matters
This describes application behavior. A hosting provider, reverse proxy or machine operator may have access to requests or infrastructure logs. A public operator must review and disclose those arrangements before making a stronger retention or confidentiality promise. This site is hosted on Cloudflare Workers. Cloudflare Browser Run processes documents to generate PDFs.
What you control
You can download your Markdown, clear the editor and attached images, or close the tab. Replacement and clearing retain one previous document in tab memory for Undo. The next replacement replaces that recovery copy; closing or refreshing the tab discards it. Generated documents are not published or shared by this app. Opening the PDF in a new tab gives access to your browser’s normal save, print and share controls.
